[Central Plains Bonsai Landscape – Chaya Mountain]

Chaya Mountain is also known as the "Central Plains First Bonsai Landscape". It is situated in Suiping County, 25 km to the west of Zhumadian city. It is composed of the Amber Mountain, the South Mountain, the North Mountain and six mountain peaks. Among them are the Beautiful Honey Lake, the Pipa Lake and the Hundred Flowers Lake.

It is where Wu Chen-en, the author of the classical novel, "Journey to the West" lived in seclusion, and obtained his inspiration.

[The National Forest Park – Bo Mountain and Lake Scenic Area]

It is situated within the borders of Queshan County, 3 km to the west of National Road 107 (now renamed as "Tianzhong Mountain Road"), about 30 km away from Station City. It has the famous "Natural Ecological Park and "Central Plains Li River". It was chosen by the China Central Television and China TV Production Centre as the filming location for "Journey to the West" and "The Long March".

[Wu Dang Mountain – Tong Mountain]

It is situated in Biyang County, 30 km to the east of Zhumadian city. It is said that Taoist monks travelled to Jian Temple to preach, and a few years later, they became a generation of Tai Chi Masters.

Tong Mountain and Lake Forest Park is a national forest park.

[China's largest Buddhist temple – South China Sea Buddhist Temple]

It is situated in the south-east of Runan County. It was built in the peaceful period of the Ming Dynasty. Because of the extensive Small South China Sea surrounding the small town, it is referred to as the "Zen in the South China Sea". It is hailed as "one of the eight scenic spots in Caizhou". It has now become China's largest existing temple and the largest of Asia's very few temples.

The white master of Taipei's pagoda of Buddhist relics was also built in this temple.

It is about 32 km away from Station City.

[The largest artificial flatland reservoir – Suya Lake]

It is situated in the north-west of Runan County. With an area of 239 square kilometres, it is China's largest and longest artificial reservoir. It is hailed as the "Man-made Cavity Chamber".

[Zhumadian's highest peak – Baiyun Mountain]

Baiyun Mountain is situated 72 km north-east of Biyang County. With a height of 983 metres above sea level, it is Zhumadian's highest peak. It is famous for its waterfalls and limestone caves.

[Millennium Temple – North Spring Temple]

It is situated over 10 km north-west of Queshan County. It was built in the Northern Qi Dynasty. It already has more than 1400 years of history. It is one of Henan province's well-known temples.

A Shandong public memorial hall was built within the temple to commemorate the Tan Dynasty calligrapher, Yan Zhengqing. In that year, Yan Zhengqing was hanged to death by the Huaixi rebel, Jiang Li, inside the temple under the ginkgo tree.

[Small Yanan – Zhu Mountain Valley's Revolutionary Memorial Hall]

 It is situated 32 km to the west of Que Mountain County. In 1932, Liu Shaoqi and the Chinese communists in the Central Plains Bureau commanded the Central Plains' War of Resistance Against Japan there.

Li Xiannian, Peng Xuefang, Zhang Zhen, Wang Guohua, a well-known historian called Fan Wenlan, Fiji and Chinese economists have fought or worked there.

During the War of Resistance Against Japan, Zhu Mountain Valley was hailed as "Small Yanan" and "Small northern Shannxi".

The Prime Minister Zhou Enlai himself wrote the book, "Zhu Mountain Valley's Revolutionary Memorial Hall".

[War of Resistance Against Japan hero, General Yang Jingyu museum and former residence]

It is situated 5 km to the south of Zhumadian city, to the east of No. 107 National Road. It was built on 16th January 1995. Comrade Jiang Zemin himself named the museum.
